| Since September 2006... My close friend's Father passed from cancer My neighbor's daughter passed cerviacal cancer - (she had just turned 40) My Hubby's Aunt passed from lung cancer My Aunt had a masectomy - (she is doing fine) My Father had a triple bypass (he is doing fine) My Uncle had to have surgery - holes drilled into his skull to relive pressure from a previous head injury from falling. (he is doing fine!) I had to have a biopsy done - (results were benign) My close friend, (like a sister to me), passed away unexpectedly I had to have surgery done (results were benign) Kinda taking an inventory of sorts from last year when things started to seem to be non-stop bad news...I had been so glad to see the end of 2006 finally end, and thought WHEW! a new year, and it is OVER! ..but no...there was the passing of my dear friend, and my surgery that began the 2007 year for me. I'm taking the good with the bad...everyone who had surgeries etc. are all fine, including me. PTL! But I am ready for "my turn" to be over, and looking forward to better news in the future! Since September, it reminds me of that quote from Mother Teresa - "I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." |

I know that you had a hard time of it sweetie, but God is in control and even though we don't have a clue as to what he's doing He does. Plus you know you always have me to talk to! Love ya Sis!

Ohmigod! This reminds me of 2003, my year from (or IN?) hell. Death in the family, personal disaster, job --no, career loss. I can't remember more negative, hard stuff in one year. The good news? It turned into now.
Stay strong, you will make it through all of this. And the world WILL be a better place.

Oh I know what you mean Barnabus, but I SURE hope your wrong!

One thing that's sad is there are so many 'alternative' cures for cancer, yet the poor physcians only have Chemo..Radiation and surgery.
That new DCA yet the National Cancer Institute did reasearch on it and then shelved it, they get more money for the 'search' than a cure...so will NEVER find a cure!!

Hey, Mary!
You HAVE been through a lot! But don't give up. God knows what He is doing. He allows us to go through these things to strengthen us. These are the Last Days, and now, more than ever, we who are His, are going to be very needed. The days are going to get really rough, and we are here for "just such a time as this"...to be able to reach out to others with knowledge, compassion and comfort! 2007 is the year of Jubilee...so all those who have served Him in tears will be recompensed, over and above what we have given. You are destined to play a vital role...somewhere, somehow, someway, I believe.
Just hang on to God....He is Good all the time!!!
Blessings in abundance!
